  1. As I think about the history of Black churches in America, I am reminded of the question of the future of Chinese churches in America. Are ethic churches a transitional form or part of the permanent setting?

    Same ethic and culture background can be an advantage if it is used for spreading the gospel. But if it becomes a measurement for identity and exclusivity, it will turn a church to a club. It will be a hindrance to the spreading of the gospel.

    There needs to be a balance.
